1998 Honda Accord LX - 267k miles - $695 cash, Let's be straight with you about what this is: a 7 hundred dollar car with a quarter million miles on it, and it looks the part. It's rough and it's dirty, check engine light is flashing, the transmission mount needs fixed, if it idols it starts to bubble from the overflow. We're not going to dress it up, because at this price you're buying short term transportation, not a showpiece, and you should come look at it with your own eyes before you decide anything. What the CARFAX does say is worth knowing. No accidents or damage reported in twenty-eight years. No total loss, no structural damage, no airbag deployment, and no indication of an odometer rollback. The title is clean of every damage and odometer brand CARFAX checks - no salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail or lemon. Every one of its owners was a personal owner rather than a fleet, and it has been an Oregon car since 2004. There are 13 service records on it, and the maintenance kept going late in its life: transmission fluid changed at 205,168 miles and again at 225,886, a coolant flush with a fuel system service and air filter at 220,062, power steering fluid at 197,616, brake rotors resurfaced with an alignment and tie rod ends at 192,259, and oil changes logged the whole way through.
